About
AARCS mission is Changing Lives Through Kindness. We rescue abandoned, surrendered or abused animals and find them new loving homes. We a leading animal welfare organization finding new loving homes for over 2,300 each year. We also work towards ending animal homelessness through our community support programs, including Spay/Neuter Assistance, Pet Food Bank, Animal Disaster Response. AARCS has an animal shelter in NE Calgary and a network of over 500 volunteer foster homes. Our vision is a Compassionate World for All Animals.
