Rainbow Railroad is a Canadian charity founded in 2006 with a mission to help at-risk LGBTQI+ people around the world find safety from persecution and violence. The organization does this primarily through offering information, referrals, travel support and airfare to help individuals resettle in safer countries. Since its founding, Rainbow Railroad has provided assistance to almost 20,000 LGBTQI+ people, including helping more than 2,200 begin new lives in countries like Canada.

Rainbow Railroad helps persecuted LGBTQI people around the world escape violence and travel to safety. We believe all people should be able to live in freedom without fear of violence. We work with partners in Canada and internationally to advocate for LGBTQI rights so that people are free to live and love with authenticity.
