About
The Arthritis Society is Canada’s national Charity dedicated to extinguishing arthritis. We represent the six million Canadians living with arthritis today, and the millions more impacted at risk. We are Canada’s largest charitable funder of cutting-edge arthritis research. Fueled by the support of our donors and volunteers, the Arthritis Society is fighting the fire of arthritis with research, advocacy, innovation, information, and support.
It's not just arthritis.
Arthritis is Canada’s most common chronic disease and there is no cure. The disease affects the lives of six million Canadians (1 in 5 adults), more than half of people living with arthritis are under the age of 65. Without a brighter spotlight on this serious issue, the number of Canadians with arthritis will rise to nine million by 2040.
Through the continued generosity of our supporters, the Arthritis Society will achieve our bold dream of making a cure a reality. Your donation will enable the Arthritis Society to address the deep and urgent need to invest in critical research, innovation, information, and support so we can extinguish the flames of arthritis.
