About
Outside Looking In supports and empowers Indigenous youth to thrive through experiential education that inspires youth to engage in self-expression, embrace challenges, and shape their path to success.
Through experiential education that explores self-expression, embracing challenges, and shaping the journey to success, Outside Looking In supports and empowers Indigenous youth from high school to their career path of choice. Our life cycle of programs has been purpose-built to support Indigenous youth every step of the way from secondary school to their career path of choice. We have worked hard to develop and continuously improve these programs over the last 15 years to ensure they best meet the needs of the youth we serve and their communities. In most of the communities that we serve, OLI is the only arts organization that delivers accessible, professional arts training multiple times over a nine month period, year after year, directly to these students in their home communities.
This year, we are in 13 different communities across Canada, and travel to each and every community requires at least 1 flight on an Air Canada aircraft. For OLI to grow and meet the ever-growing demand for our programs while staying true to our grassroots program delivery, we need assistance to travel into community on a frequent basis to maintain OLI's strong, active presence.
