About
For the past 15 years the Aeroplan Member donation program has supported Engineers Without Borders Canada. What do those Aeroplan points do? Your donated points allows EWB Canada to support social entrepreneurs make a difference in Sub-Saharan Africa. We do this in 3 ways: with our Junior Fellows, Fellowship, and Kumvana Fellowship programs.
For the Junior Fellowship and Fellowship EWB programs we use the Aeroplan points to send our fellows into Africa to help local organizations in areas like agriculture, tech, water and sanitation, as well as small business development.
For our Kumvana program we bring African small business leaders and innovators to Canada to get connected with our chapters nationwide as well as with supporting Canadian organizations and businesses.
Poverty is the product of broken systems that prevent people from realizing their full potential. Beating poverty means making those systems work.
EWB Canada is doing exactly that. We invest in people—smart systems changers, and we incubate the systemic innovations that they create to accelerate rural African development. It’s not just about projects. It’s not just about technology. It’s about people working with people to create lasting, scalable change that unlocks human potential. With your donation, you join us in our quest and we thank you for your support.
