THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO SEND ARCHITECTURE’S “TEAM CANADA” TO THE 2012 VENICE ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE!
Seeing my work at the Venice Architecture Biennale was unforgettable!

Every architect dreams of presenting their work at the Venice Architecture Biennale. It’s like going to the “Olympics” of Architecture.

Tiffany Shaw-Collinge was one of 43 young Canadian architects and designers who won a national competition for a spot in Canada’s exhibit at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale, called “Migrating Landscapes”. Generous donors from all across the country donated their Aeroplan Miles to help Tiffany and other young designers go to Venice to see their work.

For Tiffany, it was an unforgettable, life-changing experience: “It was an incredible feeling flying into Venice, knowing that I was fortunate enough to not only see the Venice Architecture Biennale for the first time, but also see my work exhibited in the Canada Pavilion. Being supported by Aeroplan Miles was an incredible honour as it ensured I saw Canada’s “Migrating Landscapes” exhibition in person. It was also wonderful to share the experience with other young Canadian architects and designers who flew over on Aeroplan Miles donations. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, which I am infinitely grateful for. None of it would have been possible without generous donations of Aeroplan Miles. Thank you for your support of the next generation of Canadian architects!”
