The Beyond Miles Charitable Pooling program helped the Rotary Athabasca Youth Development Association raise funds and go beyond in supporting youth in many ways in 2012. Two Athabasca youth enjoyed remarkable learning experiences in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program, and another was deeply inspired by the Adventures in Citizenship program in Ottawa. An outbound Rotary Youth Exchange Student was sponsored to go to Germany and an inbound student from Brazil was sponsored for the year. Further, funds enabled the launch of an Interact Club at Edwin Parr Composite Community School in Athabasca. Many thanks to Aeroplan's Beyond Miles program!
