What began as a pilot program in 1998 for ten youth from what would become Nunavut, now prepares to celerbate two decades of programming serving more than 50 youth per year from Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Much has changed throughout this time but, young people are as eager as ever to travel, gain work experience, earn high school credits and come together to share, learn and grow. 

To celebrate this milestone NYA has planned a number of ways to celebrate! In support of NYA's programs and participants we will endeavor to raise 200,000 Aeroplan miles in 2017 - all to be used in support of Participants as they set and achieve their goals - no matter what they may be. 

We are so appreciative to the countless individuals who have played so many pivotral roles in our story so far, and cannot wait to see what the next 20 years will bring!
