Assemblée 2027 is Canada’s National Ballet School’s (NBS) signature global ballet festival, unlike any other in the world. Held every four years like the Olympics of ballet, Assemblée brings together the world’s leading training schools to celebrate collaboration over competition, while fostering creativity and progress in the art form. This unique and dynamic international event will feature new choreographies, blended cast performances, and intergenerational learning to empower the next generation of artists. For a transformational week in Toronto, the ballet training world will connect across cultures, aspire to even greater heights of excellence, and shape a more inclusive and evolving future for ballet. 

Assemblée 2027 will feature:

• 225 students representing 28 dance training organizations from 12 countries tackling anti-Black racism in ballet’s practices to empower the greatest talent
• 3 world-renowned established choreographers + 7 student choreographers presenting world premieres featuring international blended casts
• Canadian/Canada’s National Ballet School’s leadership in the global spotlight
• Special events featuring VIP guests

To help NBS bring these dancers and artistic staff to Toronto, we are asking for the support from our community to help us secure 500,000 Aeroplan points from now until November 30, 2026.
