Jacelynn from Nova Scotia

Jacelynn has always dreamt of standing on her own two feet. For this, she travelled from Nova Scotia to Montreal for a surgical intervention called selective radicellectomy at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. This intervention had to be followed by an intensive six weeks of rehabilitation at the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Montreal.

Thanks to both devoted hospital teams in Montreal, Jacelynn can now walk on her own! She returned home with her grandmother Vickie thanks to the local Shriners support and of course the Air Canada Foundation’s Hospital Transportation Program!
