Luke was born with an uncommon medical condition that affects his muscles and joints and requires us to travel frequently to Vancouver to see his specialist. We are so grateful to the Air Canada Foundation for the help they have provided with travel costs, as well as the kindness and professionalism they have displayed in all our interactions.
We travel from Vanderhoof BC, and have to travel again in December which will make 3 times in 8 months but Luke will need to go every 2 to 3 months for the foreseeable future. His condition is called Amyoplasia Arthrogryposis, it means he has contractures in his joints and weak muscles.
