About

Canada’s future depends on the availability of clean water for drinking, food production, a strong economy and healthy wild spaces. This valuable resource is under threat. Trout Unlimited Canada is the only national organization fighting to protect this resource, and working to physically restore Canada’s water for you.

With the generous donation of your Aeroplan miles, Trout Unlimited Canada can carry out more programs across Canada and advocate for the protection of our water and wild spaces by exchanging Aeroplan miles for fuel, car rentals and flights. By offsetting travel costs we are able to direct more funds into repairing habitat, improving water quality and ensuring Canadians have plenty of clean, cold water now and in the future.

Restoring streams and fish habitat often means working on the land

How does sediment end up in a creek? Restoring streams and fish habitat often means working on the land, rather than in water. The reality is water comes to the streams from the land and what’s happening in the stream is a reflection of what’s happening on the surrounding landscape. What happens...
