The Fur-Bearers is a Canadian wildlife charity dedicated to protecting fur-bearing animals through conservation, advocacy, research, and education. We work to help people and wildlife coexist, advance humane public policy, and share research and education that support stronger protections for fur-bearing animals. Our work includes advocating to end fur farming in Canada, promoting non-lethal, evidence-based approaches to living with wildlife, and creating practical resources that help communities prevent and respond to wildlife concerns. From beavers and bears to foxes, coyotes, raccoons, mink, and many others, we work toward a world where humans and wild animals coexist peacefully.
