Mi’kmaw Cultural Foundation Inc. is a Newfoundland and Labrador–based charity dedicated to preserving, promoting, and revitalizing Mi’kmaw culture, language, and heritage. We create youth and family programs, land-based learning, language activities, arts and storytelling workshops, and intergenerational events that connect Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community. Our initiatives—such as Lnu’k Gardens, cultural dance and language programs, and seasonal land-based gatherings—support cultural pride, wellness, and reconciliation by centering Mi’kmaw ways of knowing. Donations help us deliver culturally grounded education, strengthen community connections across the province, and ensure Mi’kmaw voices and traditions flourish for future generations.

How Aeroplan points will be used

• Bring Elders/Knowledge Keepers to youth programs, workshops, and ceremonies
• Support youth and chaperone travel for cultural exchanges, trainings, and showcases
• Reduce travel costs to remote and rural communities to run land-based programming
• Host guest artists/language instructors to strengthen local capacity
• Facilitate community-to-community collaboration across Newfoundland and Labrador (and Atlantic Canada when appropriate)
