  Responsible tourism outside of centralized poles promotes better sharing of tourism revenues, sustainable jobs that reduce rural exodus, valorization of marginalized cultures, and a digital connection of remote areas to the global market.

  Responsible production and consumption

  The projects contribute to the growth of a responsible tourism in remote areas, focused on sustainable local development, environmental protection, respect for host communities and the authentic discovery of others, outside of mass tourism.

  Climate action

  Each of the initiatives supported constitutes a sustainable development tool for the resilience of communities in the face of climate change, the protection or restoration of ecosystems and/or the enhancement of their environmental heritage.

  Partnerships for the goals

  Village Monde supports local initiatives centered on the active participation of the communities and whose objectives, responding to the needs raised directly by the beneficiaries, are defined with local partners rooted in these communities.
