Veterinarians Without Borders North America / Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amerique du Nord (VWB/VSF) is a non-profit, charitable organization that strengthens animal health and welfare to build more resilient communities.

VWB/VSF relies on Aeroplan points to fly our volunteers, veterinarians, and staff to countries where we are working to further our mission to enhance veterinary care, bolster community disaster response and recovery, champion sustainable livelihoods, and improve the well-being of animals, humans, and ecosystems worldwide. By reducing our air travel expenses through points, we can fund more project work to help animals.

Our work spans the globe and includes:
- Responding to crises worldwide, including the Ukraine conflict, earthquakes, and wildfires, by providing emergency veterinary support and services to address the urgent needs of animals and communities.
- Working in Africa and Asia to improve the lives of small holder farmers, particularly women, in under-served rural populations through increased access to veterinary and animal health care, climate smart agriculture, delivering targeted training programs.
- Building capacity and leadership of community animal health workers in remote communities to deliver sustainable, high-quality animal health care services and support One Health systems.
- Supporting remote Northern Canadian communities to improve animal health through no-cost veterinary clinics that offer spay and neuter surgeries and vaccines to reduce the spread of rabies while working to create the conditions for long-term, community-led, sustainable animal health services.
