After waiting for months at a refugee shelter in Tijuana, this family was processed at the U.S. border. Mother, infant baby, and 6 year old daughter were separated from their husband/father while held in detention. They were released and assisted by our partners at Minority Humanitarian Foundation with new clothing, food, and lodging. Thanks to your donated Aeroplan miles, we flew the entire family to their new home in the Midwestern U.S. to reunite with their cousin.
